UPDATE on Incident in Golders Green 07/08/2016

On 7th of August, Police were called to reports that a member of the Jewish community had been robbed in Golders Green by what was thought to be a firearm.
Police Officers from Camden and specialist firearms units quickly attended the scene but the suspect had made off. The incident is thought to be isolated and not terrorist or racially motivated.
Police reassured Shomrim that extra patrols will be deployed in the area with a view to detecting the suspect and/or preventing a second offence.
A/Inspector Pete Dearden from Barnet said;
"An incident occurred around 2230hrs on 07/08/2016 in North End Road NW11 whereby a male was robbed whilst being threatened with a weapon, possibly a firearm. A phone was taken before the suspect made off. This isolated incident was not racially motivated and one suspect is still outstanding. Reassurance patrols are taking place in the area tonight as a response. Anyone with information should contact Camden CID on 101"
