"As Mayor of London, I have made cutting crime and keeping our communities safe a priority. I am grateful therefore for the excellent work the Shomrim do in helping keep Londoners safe and building a strong relationship between the Jewish community and the police.
It is essential that the police have good links with all London's communities and Shomrim do a fantastic job liaising between residents of North West London and the Met, acting as the eyes and the ears of their community. All those volunteers who give their time to support the work of the police are to be commended and Shomrim are a great example of how productive the relationship between Londoners and the police can be. |
